How to Use for Best Results

  1. Mounting to Grinder: Screw the backing plate directly onto the M14 spindle of your angle grinder until hand-tight and securely seated against the shoulder.

  2. Mounting to Drill: Thread the included arbor shank into the backing plate center, then insert and tighten the shank into your power drill chuck.

  3. Attach Abrasive/Pad: Align and press your 125mm sanding disc or polishing pad firmly onto the center of the backing plate.

  4. Operation: Keep the backing pad flat or at a low angle (10°–15°) against the workpiece under light, smooth pressure to extend disc life and achieve an even finish.

Pro Tip: Always check that the backing pad is rated equal to or higher than your power tool’s maximum operating RPM to ensure safety during high-speed applications.
